Calling all blog followers – we need your help!

The BRP have been entered into the American Institute of Archaeology’s competition to find the best community project. Voting begins today and you can vote everyday until the 7th of Feb

This would be an excellent accolade for the BRP to win and one that would raise our profile in both the UK and the Americas.

If you would like to take a look at our entry and vote for us, please follow the link http://www.archaeological.org/outreach/contest/submissions2012

Whilst on the topic of community projects, the new Bradford Kaims Wetland Heritage Research Project, will have its first event over the weekend Feb 11-12. More details will follow shortly.

To help communicate  dates and times for ongoing projects the BRP has designed a Newsletter service, which will provide brief and regular information about things like dig days, times, places to meet and equipment to bring. If this is something you are interested in being involved with or you just want to be kept in the loop please sign up to our newsletter. http://www.bamburghresearchproject.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=95&Itemid=108

As always, the blog will be here to report the days activities.
