Bamburgh Winter Wonderland and BRP Lecture

As part of the RNLI Grace Darling Museum’s Broadening Horizons Project, next weekend will see Bamburgh village transformed into a winter wonderland.

On Saturday 27th November, the village will host a series of events for all the family to celebrate Advent and the run up to Christmas. Events include craft workshops, carol singing and a Christmas Lantern Parade from the doors of St. Aidan’s Church to the Christmas tree in Bamburgh Grove. A full programme of events with more details is available here.

The BRP will be giving our annual lecture during the festival. BRP Directors will be speaking about the work that we’ve been doing in the Bamburgh area in 2010, including our involvement with Channel 4’s Time Team. You’ll also have an opportunity to ask us any questions you might have about the work we’ve been doing.

The lecture will run from 2pm – 4pm at The Pavilion in Bamburgh village – we look forward to seeing you there!
